향기로운 여름날 대기 속의 아지랑이와 같은
반짝이는 개울물 따라 깡충깡충 뛰어가는 그녀를 보네
마치 길 위에서 춤추는 데이지꽃 같이 행복하게
흥얼거리는 그녀의 노랫소리는 많기도 하지
그 노래에 화답하는 새소리도 많기도 하지
나는 밝은 갈색 머리칼의 제니를 꿈꾸네
향기로운 여름날 대기 속의 아지랑이와 같이 떠다니는
